Zena, My newest Range Rover. I purchased January '15.
A Rimini Red 2006 177,000 mile vehicle
To do list is nearly complete.
All fluids, filters changed, including trans fluid, pan, and sleeve.
Every module has been updated with the latest software
Interior has been cleaned, scrubbed, so I can now smell it up
New belts, tensioners, and idlers
Rear suspension upper,lower ball joint and tie rods replaced
Front right CV axle replaced
Calibrate air suspension and align
Removed the ugly door bumper strips
Removed disassembled and reshaped damaged front bumper
New roof rails and cross bars
Installed Hella 4000 HID driving lamp, and pencil beam lamp

Some items left on the list
Repair rear bumper and pdc harness
Repair or replace bent lower tailgate
Replace cracked windshield
Replace front brakes

That's a long list, should be hassle free for a while now.

Really nice ride. Good luck with her and you're almost done with the to do list!

For what it's worth, I replaced my windshield through insurance when it cracked driving behind a dump truck and it kicked up a rock. The deductible is all it cost.

You are right Mike. Those side protection strips look hideous on RR , you are better off without them for a cleaner look. 177 000 miles is not that bad. With your means and resources you should be able to pull a 300 thou with no problems. Thanks for a compressor , by the way , so far so good.

These Rovers could reach 300k? I've been looking at the sport rovers, we both love the body and look of them. Is there issues with electronics or motors in these years? I'm sure sensors tend to go but anything major?

200,000 miles.

Repairs in the last year or so...

A/C compressor and condenser
water pump
4 tires
oil changes

Still has the bent tailgate and cracked windshield
